Google Glass Gets It's First YouTube App

With the Explorer Edition of Google Glass now in the hands of a lucky few, developers are hard at work to provide apps for the headset. Earlier this week, we got a glimpse of the official Twitter for Glass app and now, another app has made it’s way to Glass’s software ecosystem.
Google Glass now has it’s first ever YouTube app, Fullscreen Beam, which allows a user to record a video via Glass and quickly upload it to their YouTube channel. Once your video is uploaded on YouTube, you have the option to make it public, or you can keep it private and prevent anyone else from accessing it.
The app also gives the users an option to directly share the video via Twitter.
As the time passes, more and more developers are expected to join in and create apps for the headset. Last week, developers at Evernote and Path announced that they’ll be making apps for Google Glass themselves, while many 3rd party app developers are already working hard to introduce new apps for Google Glass.

The process to upload videos via Fullscreen Beam is quite easy, and requires just four simple steps:
  1. Register the Fullscreen Beam app.
  2. Shoot a video.
  3. Share the video with Fullscreen Beam app.
  4. Once the confirmations appears, you can then view your video.
We know it’s been some time since Google first announced the detailed specifications for Glass, so here’s a refresh!
